Customer FAQ

Yes!

We provide our subscription customers with hardware for the life of their active account.

If our device is not damaged frivolously (power surges, fire damage, misuse, etc.), we will replace it free of charge.
We only ask that you pay for the shipping costs, unless arranged in advance with our company.

We maintain the equipment with the latest tested firmware and features for our customers.

If our device is deemed outdated by us, we will provide an upgraded replacement device free of charge.

Our customers are not required to learn any part of cellular connectivity devices and services. We take care of everything for you.

We maintain our own inventory of cellular routers. Our customers want to get online and stay online. They don’t want to be their own tech support. They don’t care how it works, they just want to know that we will take care of everything for them.

A huge part of this is the cellular gateway (WiFi Hostpots etc).

We will maintain the device for the life of your account. Effectively forever if you decide to keep your account forever.

This means we will update the firmware automatically for you. We will keep the settings as optimal as we know how. We will even upgrade your device when we decide that the future has produced much better hardware at the price point you entered at.

It’s like having a forever warranty that includes free upgrades for life. What was level 2 when you started may eventually be what used to be level 3. When that happens, you will automatically receive a free upgrade to better equipment to match what we would now consider our level two hardware.
Our product is our industry leading customer support, our knowledge to get you online so that you don’t have to learn how cellular data networks work, and the avoidance of you being the  constant self IT tech support that comes with doing this on your own.

We do it all for you all the time. For the life of your account.
We have remote monitoring of our devices and remote support systems that no one else is offering. we usually know when you have lost internet connectivity before you do. We have reports that show how often and for how long you have had connectivity. We can report to you how much data you are using and even which method is using the most data (example ethernet devices, vs wifi devices).

Maybe. We can offer a credit towards our devices when trading in your own device. This helps alleviate costs that you may have already incurred with other providers hardware.

We may also offer to use your equipment if it is compatible with our remote management services.

Contact us and we can see what we can do for you and your needs.

**WiFi Delivered does not guarantee that we will accept, or help with, your device.

It means that we can use basically any SIM card that you may have to be your own “Unlimited Data” plan with our systems.

You see we don’t focus on marking up data plans to make profits off our customers, like every data reseller and psuedo-ISP out there who charge you up to $300 a month for a SIM card.

With our data plans you will be covered for all the data you need.

Our data plans that we source for our customers are just as “unlimited” as anyone elses, but that comes with a ** note that other companies may leave off their empty marketing.

**Cellular data plans may be high data limit plans, marketed as “unlimited” with upwards of 800-900GB a month soft caps, unless otherwise specifically stated. All cellular network users have to adhere to the fair use policies that all carriers use.

“Other companies offer ‘TRULY Unlimited Data’ !”

They are offering something that doesn’t exist, and we would stay away.

The word “unlimited” in the cellular data market is not a true to definition word. You have unlimited access to the network, but not unlimited GB of data you can use. It’s marketing, plain and simple.

AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are the most common networks that our devices work with. We can work with data plans from most all major US cellular networks.

Yes! Very well at that!

Game on all day all night whether you game on consoles, computers, tablets, phones, or anywhere else that requires an internet connection to play.

Please note that some gaming consoles require a web proxy or VPN to be able to use all console gaming online services. Some PC gaming may also require this.

Cellular carriers  use a network routing system called CGNAT. This means that you do not get a public facing IP address., and also means that you will experience something called “Double NAT” which essentially means your data is being double routed.
Because of this some gaming systems will not allow the user to use voice chat or other services they offer on their gaming network services.

WiFi Delivered is not responsible for any of these systems and can not change how this works.

We are not offering VPN services at this time, but you can use many resources for this that are available publicly and privately. These services have been found to be a way to solve the above gaming service issues.

Each device has it’s own requirements for proxy and VPN services. Please refer to your device manufacturer and VPN service providers documentation and customer support for your own needs.

Yes! Stream movies, TV Shows, and even online meetings all day!

There are no limits to which services you can use.

Please note that some streaming service may require a web proxy or VPN to be able to use their services on cellular data connections.

Yes! As long as you have a good signal strength on your device you can stream and participate in online Zoom callas and more.

Please note that signal strength as well as your specific cell towers subscriber load, or cell tower hardware setup and management by the carrier, is unique to your individual location and is not something we can guarantee at all.

Wander Broadband has absolutely no control over your cell towers and how well they are provisioned, or managed, for the number of users on the tower at any time.

The best thing you can do for your Zoom meetings and streaming services is to ensure you have as close to 100% signal strength, and minimal signal RF noise, as possible.

We do offer a 14 day evaluation period for our services. This period starts from the day you receive our device.

If you have any issues with your service, we ask that you reach out to us and allow us to solve the problems you may be experiencing, as it may be a simple solution to get you up and going.

If you are not satisfied with our services at anytime during the initial 14 days, carefully package up any equipment we have provided and return it to us for a full refund of your service and equipment.
We cannot refund the initial $26 Setup Fee and a 5% credit card processing fee (5% of the total initial charge will not be refunded).

After the 14 day evaluation period we will not refund the monthly service fees paid. We do not pro-rate services.

We do not use service contracts for our standard customers. You may cancel service at any time during your use of our services. After the initial 14 day trial period of your first month we do not refund the  monthly service payment, in full or partial; no matter how many days the service is used for that month.

Please see our Return Policy for more information.

Yes. Please contact us in advance of  your order and provide us with a current and valid DoD ID or other proof of service or position and we will send you a discount coupon code for your monthly subscription.

The service/setup fee covers the cost of setting up your device to your data plan, configuring your device, and processing your order through to shipping it out to you. This wouldn’t be a fair cost to add to the monthly service cost, so we just charge it one time and keep our monthly service plan fees lowered.

The subscription service fee will initially show on your account page as the same day of the month as the day you purchased your services on our site.

When you actually receive your activated device, that date will be changed to match the day of the month that you received the device. This way you get a true full month of service on the first month, before you are charged again for your next month of service. then every month there after you will continue to be charged on the same day of the month.

If your services were started on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the the month, the February service may charge a few days early.

Bank processing times, holidays, and weekends will modify the exact date charged to your account each month if the set date falls on those days, but the effective date of charge placed on your payment method will be on the day of the month that we set after you receive your device.

Cellular networks are changing all the time. Please see the individual carrier pages for up to date coverage maps.

Sometimes coverage may not be shown for you, yet you get cell phone reception at your location anyway. If this is true then you may be just fine for cellular internet services.

Here are the major Plan Coverage Maps:

AT&T Network

VERIZON Network

T-Mobile Network

Reach out to us at any time if the coverage maps and our information resources on the site do not answer your customer cellular internet coverage questions.

One way carriers manage networks is to reduce data speeds after seemingly arbitrary amounts of data has been used. All carriers reserve the right to reduce speeds after some typically unstated data limit, sometimes referred to as a soft data cap; whether or not the limit is made clear to the to us or to the user.

The loss of net neutrality gives the carriers broad-ranging rights to do what they deem best. Unlike de-prioritization, the type of network traffic (whether streaming, web browsing, or email) nor network load in your area are considered. In this case, data speed may be slightly reduced regardless once the soft data cap is reached within the current billing cycle. For this reason, it is recommended to conserve data usage ensuring you have a good usage experience.

Carriers also continuously monitor their networks for “spikes” in data usage which they may see this as a malicious attack on their network. As a result, carriers seek to mitigate such “attacks” by limiting traffic identified as potentially harmful and therefore degrading to the quality of their service (see de-prioritization). To avoid this situation, we recommend to always use data wisely and treat it like a utility. Moderate, steady usage is best.

As a direct consequence of the repeal of Net-Neutrality, carriers use “data de-prioritization” as a way to manage limited bandwidth in densely populated areas with high data consumption.

Users with higher data usage may experience de-prioritization during peak times. Data de-prioritization is intended not only to allow lower data users to enjoy high speed data but also to ensure network bandwidth is available for emergency services and other high-priority traffic.

Fortunately, de-prioritization usually only occurs for short periods of time (a matter of minutes or hours), not until the end of the billing cycle.

Absolutely! If you are a high data user and need Terabytes of data to use, then we definitely recommend you purchase multiple managed devices from us so that you can spread your data use across your devices to avoid being marked as a network  service abuser.

Note: Please keep track of your own usage. WiFi Delivered can notify you of your data usage, but it is very easy to know your data usage with our integrated router web user interface.
It is the customers own responsibility to keep their data use under their data limits.

Signal strength, and quality, is a priority for cellular broadband use. It should be your top priority when setting up, and ensure it stays good.

You can improve your signal if your cellular broadband hotspot device has the ability to add antennas that are more powerful than the stock antennas that come with the unit.

There are Vendors that we have relationships with that may be able to help you directly. Contact us for specific  recommendations. TheWirelessHaven.com is one of the most popular places to get cellular antennas and equipment for cellular broadband data devices.
Amazon can be a good product resource if you do not want support for your products, as they do not offer support.

If you are unsure of what to do, reach out to us and we can help.

Some data plans do allow for international roaming. Please contact us in advance before using your device on non-US based networks that your plan is meant to be used on. WiFi Delivered is not responsible for data plans not working, or roaming and international data charges, outside of standard service areas if we are not contacted prior to roaming on other networks.

No. We currently only offer services to users of US based cellular networks.
